It´s interesting, since the day people know you are pregnant, they come running to give unasked advices, pepper you with questions and even the neighbor comes around to bring over the pyjama she had found in the cellar and which belonged to her son who´s 22 now.
Sometimes it´s flattering but the most time it´s at least for me, a little bit strenuously. It´s not my first pregnancy and I already know some things but this argument doesn´t work for anybody. Some people think they have to make a great show of learning and they tell you about everything you could make wrong in pregnancy and about the consequences parents have to bear if they do these so-called mistakes.
I tell you, some stories make me really afraid, but I hope our child will forgive me that I don´t visit any preparation courses for birth til now and if I’ll pent wrong while I be in labor.
By the way, a few days ago I had a really interesting conversation regarding the Name dialing. Full of pride I told, we even know the name for our baby. My counterpart could only laugh about it, cause according her the Name will permanently change till birth date and to find the right name would be a very long process and important thing, which we can not decide in this time of pregnancy. Pah! Now more than ever we will keep the name.
Apropos, the expectant father don´t have to hear all the well-intentioned advises. But why? Why doesn´t all the people tell daddy how you have to hold a baby or how you have to change a pampers?
Is there still a antiquated role distribution in their heads? I don´t know!
However, we decided to stay cool, cause we know, stress isn´t good for the unborn baby.
